چکیده

Abstract Electrochemical reactions with insertions of ions in solids depend on crystallographic orientations. We investigated electrochemical responses (100), (110) and (111)-oriented oxygen-deficient perovskite SrFeO 2.5+ y epitaxial films electric-field-effect transistor structures the proton-conducting electrolyte Nafion as a gate insulator. found that only (100)-oriented exhibit changes associated gate-voltage-induced reductions. Furthermore, elastic recoil detection analysis shows electrochemically reduced (100) can accommodate protons, forming proton-containing oxide H 0.11 . Our results show oxygen vacancies form preferentially along {100} axes ion diffusion occurs dominantly directions

Bifunctional Perovskite Oxide Catalysts for Oxygen Reduction and Evolution in Alkaline Media.

Oxygen electrocatalysis, namely of the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) and the oxygen evolution reaction (OER), governs the performance of numerous electrochemical energy systems such as reversible fuel cells, metal-air batteries, and water electrolyzers. However, the sluggish kinetics of these two reactions and their dependency on expensive noble metal catalysts (e.g, Pt or Ir) prohibit the su...

willingness to communicate in the iranian context: language learning orientation and social support

why some learners are willing to communicate in english, concurrently others are not, has been an intensive investigation in l2 education. willingness to communicate (wtc) proposed as initiating to communicate while given a choice has recently played a crucial role in l2 learning. it was hypothesized that wtc would be associated with language learning orientations (llos) as well as social suppo...

Perovskite Electrocatalysts for the Oxygen Reduction Reaction in Alkaline Media

Oxygen reduction is considered a key reaction for electrochemical energy conversion but slow kinetics hamper application in fuel cells and metal-air batteries. In this review, the prospect of perovskite oxides for the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) in alkaline media is reviewed with respect to fundamental insight into activity and possible mechanisms. For gaining these insights, special emphas...

Facet-dependent catalytic activity of MnO electrocatalysts for oxygen reduction and oxygen evolution reactions.

This Communication highlights the facet-dependent electrocatalytic activity of MnO nanocrystals for OERs/ORRs. The MnO(100) facets with higher adsorption energy of O species can largely promote the electrocatalytic activity.

A tailored double perovskite nanofiber catalyst enables ultrafast oxygen evolution

Rechargeable metal-air batteries and water splitting are highly competitive options for a sustainable energy future, but their commercialization is hindered by the absence of cost-effective, highly efficient and stable catalysts for the oxygen evolution reaction. Here we report the rational design and synthesis of a double perovskite PrBa0.5Sr0.5Co1.5Fe0.5O5+δ nanofiber as a highly efficient an...
